arthroscopic surgery on his left knee,

The LA Lakers activated Fred Roberts and placed Anthony Miller on IR with
tendinitis in his right knee.

The NBA named Juwan Howard (Was) as Player of the Week.  Howard averaged
26.5 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 6 assists as Washington went 4-0.

With their win, the Chicago Bulls became the first team ever to win 70
games.
