Toronto fired head coach Brendan Malone and named Darrell Walker as their
new head coach.

New Jersey fired head coach Butch Beard.

Ray Allen (guard, junior, UConn) declared his eligiblity for the NBA 
draft.  He joins Dontae' Jones (guard-forward, Mississippi State), Vitaly 
Potapenko (center, Wright State), Samaki Walker (forward-center, 
Louisville), Stephon Marbury (guard, freshman, Georgia Tech), Ronnie 
Henderson (guard, junior, LSU), Darnell Robinson (center, junior, 
Arkansas), and Lorenzen Wright (center, sophomore, Memphis) as 
underclassmen who have declared.
