TRADE: Boston traded Eric Montross and the 9th pick of the draft to Dallas
for the 6th pick of the draft and Dallas' 1997 1st round pick.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim has reportedly decided to re-enter the NBA draft.  The
league reports that they never received a letter from Abdur-Rahim
requesting his name be removed from the draft despite the press conference
that Abdur-Rahim had announcing his return to California for his sophomore
season.  Abdur-Rahim does not have an agent, so he could return to school
after the draft, but the team that drafted him would hold the rites to
Abdur-Rahim until after the 99-00 season.  The NBA draft is next
Wednesday, June 26.
