The NBA announced the participants of the NBA Rookie Game to be played
February 8 in Cleveland.  The East team consists of Allen Iverson (Phi),
Marcus Camby (Tor), Ray Allen (Mil), Kerry Kittles (NJ), Antoine Walker
(Bos), John Wallace (NY), Vitaly Potapenko (Cle), and Erick Dampier (Ind).
The West team consists of Samaki Walker (Dal), Shareef Abdur-Rahim (Van),
Stephon Marbury (Min), Kobe Bryant (LAL), Matt Maloney (Hou), Steve Nash
(Pho), Travis Knight (LAL), and Roy Rogers (Van).

Boston activated Dana Barros and placed Dino Radja on IR with left patella
surgery.

Chicago activated Luc Longley and placed Ron Harper on IR with a strained
back.

Matt Geiger (Cha) will undergo surgery Wednesday on a herniated disk and
will be out 8 weeks.
