The NBA named Charles Barkley (Pho) and Karl Malone (Uta) as Players of
the Week.  Barkley averaged 23 points, 16.3 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 1.3
steals as Houston went 4-0.  Malone averaged 35.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, 
and 5.3 assists as Utah went 3-0.

Orlando placed Dennis Scott on IR with a pulled left hamstring.

Luc Longley (Chi) will be out 2 months with a separated left shoulder.
The injury occurred when he was surfing a wave and it crashed him into a
sandbar.
