The NBA fined Charles Barkley (Hou) $7,500 and suspended him for 2 games
and fined Clyde Drexler (Hou) $5,000 and suspended him for 1 game for
making contact with a ref during Thursday's Hou-SA game.  Barkley
accidentally cut the ref's nose.

Atlanta placed Tyrone Corbin on IR with a sprained right ankle and
signed Henry James (F).  James had been playing with Sioux Falls Skyforce
of the CBA.

Portland placed Aleksandar Djordjevic on IR with the flu and activated
Reggie Jordan.
