The NBA named Terry Mills (Det) as Player of the Week.  Mills averaged
21.3 points including shooting 22-31 FG (71%) and 17-22 3-pointers (77.3%)
as Detroit went 3-0.

Dallas activated Jamal Mashburn and placed Fred Roberts on IR with left
elbow problems.

The NBA fined George Karl (Sea coach) $7,500 for verbally abusing the refs
and refusing to leave the court in a timely manner during Thursday's
Sea-Min game.

Toronto activated Carlos Rogers.
