Washington named Bernie Bickerstaff as head coach.  Bickerstaff resigned
as president and GM of Denver earlier in the day.
 
Boston signed Michael Hawkins to a 10-day contract.  Hawkins averaged 16
points, 9.3 assists, and 2.3 steals while playing for the Rockford
Lightning of the CBA.
 
Vancouver signed Aaron Williams to a 2nd 10-day contract, signed Eric
Leckner to a 10-day contract, and placed Chris Robinson on IR with back
spasms.
 
San Antonio signed Jamie Feick to a 2nd 10-day contract.
 
Dana Barros (Bos) will be out 8 to 10 weeks after undergoing surgery on
his left ankle.
