News from February 15.

Dallas signed Erick Strickland to a 10-day contract.  Strickland had been
playing for the Quad City Thunder of the CBA and had been with Dallas this
season until January 7.

The NBA fined Shawn Kemp (Sea) $3,000 and suspended him for 1 game for
throwing a punch at Kevin Willis (Hou) and fined Charles Barkley (Hou)
$2,500 and suspended him for 1 game for leaving the bench during the
altercation in Friday's Hou-Sea game.  Leaving the bench is an automatic
fine and suspension.

Atlanta activated Alan Henderson and placed Tyrone Corbin on IR with a
strained back.
