USA Basketball named Rudy Tomjanovich (Hou) as coach for the 1998 world 
championship team.

Mike Dunleavy resigned as GM of Milwaukee.

P.J. Brown (Mia) won the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award.  Brown is
Miami's reading spokesman and is active in the Reading to Succeed program.
