News from December 21.

Patrick Ewing (NY) underwent surgery on his right wrist to repair a
dislocated bone and torn ligaments and will be out for the rest of the 
season (including the playoffs).  Ewing suffered the injury during 
Saturday's NY-Mil game.  His wrist will be in a cast for 2 months.

Boston activated Roy Rogers and Dee Brown and placed Pervis Ellison
(tendinitis left knee) and Dontae' Jones (left groin injury) on IR.

Portland activated Alton Lister and placed Jermaine O'Neal on IR with a
strained left calf muscle.

Washington placed God Shammgod on IR.

Shawn Kemp (Cle) had 24 points including 10-14 FT, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks,
and 5 turnovers.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas (Cle) had 16 points including 6-9 FG, 10 rebounds, and

Derek Anderson (Cle) had 23 points including 16-16 FT, 5 rebounds, and 5
assists.
Adam Keefe (Uta) had 16 points and 9 rebounds.
Karl Malone (Uta) had 24 points including 8-10 FT, 13 rebounds, and 5
