The NBA named Jason Kidd (Pho) as Player of the Week.  Kidd averaged 16 
points including 28-45 FG, 10 assists, and 6.5 rebounds as Phoenix went
4-0.

Bimbo Coles (GS) will undergo surgery on his right big toe to remove bone
spurs.
 
Denver activated Bobby Jackson and placed Harold Ellis on IR with 
tendinitis in his right knee.

Miami signed Antonio Lang for the rest of the season and placed him on IR
with tendinitis in his left knee and activated Terry Mills.

New Jersey activated Rony Seikaly.

Minnesota activated Bill Curley and placed Chris Carr on IR with a
sprained left ankle.

Portland placed Carlos Rogers on IR with fluid in his right knee and
activated Alton Lister.

San Antonio signed Willie Burton for the rest of the season.
