The NBA named Michael Jordan (Chi) as Player of the Month for March.
Jordan averaged 28.9 points and 5.3 rebounds as Chicago went 13-1.
 
The NBA named Jerry Sloan (Uta) as Coach of the Month for March.  Utah
went 10-2.
 
Portland suspended Isaiah Rider for 1 game for being late for practice.

Milwaukee released Jeff Nordgaard and activated Terrell Brandon.

San Antonio signed Brad Lohaus to a 10-day contract.
