TRADE: Golden State traded Chris Mullin to Indiana for Erick Dampier and
Duane Ferrell.

TRADE: Miami traded Gary Grant, Matt Fish, and a conditional 2nd round
pick in 1999 to Sacramento for Duane Causwell.  All three players had
recently been re-signed.

Toronto named Bob Kloppenburg as an assistant coach.
