As expected, the NBA Board of Governors approved the new collective 
bargaining agreement by a vote of 29-0.  David Stern said that they hope
to have the season start February 5 and that it will be 50 game season
consisting of 25 home games and 25 road games for each team.  There will
also be two exhibition games for each team - one on the road and one at
home.  The format for the playoffs will remain unchanged and will start
the first week of May.
