On the labor front:
The NBA and Players Association negotiating teams met for 10 hours on
Thursday but both sides said that little progress was made during the
meeting and that the season is in serious jeopardy.  However, the next
negotiating session has not been scheduled.  The two sides plan on talking
on the phone over the next few days.
