averaged 24.3 points including 55% (39-71) and 11.8 assists as Minnesota
went 3-1.

The NBA fined Shaquille O'Neal (LAL) $10,000 comments he made regarding 
the refs following Sunday's LAL-Sea game.

The NBA fined Scottie Pippen (Hou) $5,000 for comments he made regarding
the refs following Sunday's Hou-Orl game.

Atlanta placed Steve Smith on IR with a sprained right knee and signed
Jeff Sheppard.
