Brian Grant (Por) won the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award.  The award
recognizes outstanding community service and charitable work.

Elton Brand (Duke), Richard Hamilton (Connecticut), and Wally Szczerbiak
(Miami(Ohio)) were named to the US Men's National Basketball team that
will play in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Puerto Rico July 14-25.
