News from June 17.

The International Committee submitted Drazen Petrovic and Pereira Maciel 
Ubiratan nomination for for induction to the Basketball Hall of Fame.  
Petrovic played a number of years in Europe including his native 
Yugoslavia and once scored 112 points in a game and played 4 seasons in 
the NBA.  Ubiratan played for the Brazilian National team from 1962-79 
and from from 1960-84 played in the Brazilian and Italian leagues.  The 
Hall of Fame nominees must receive 18 of 24 votes from the Honors 
Committee to be inducted.  The announcement for the new inductees will 
occur later in June.
