Charles Barkley (Hou) said that this will be his last season.

Reports are that Bison Dele (Det) has filed his retirement papers with the
league office.  No official announcement from Dele yet.  Also on the
Detroit front, Derek Harper (Det) has not officially retired nor has he
reported to Detroit since his trade to Detroit from the LA Lakers a month
ago.  He is currently on the team's suspended list.

Washington released Jason Lawson and Jonathan Kerner.
