Eldridge Recasner (Cha) suffered a partially collapsed lung and a badly 
bruised chest and shoulder in a car accident.  He will remain hospitalized
for a few days and will likely be out a number of weeks.  Derrick Coleman 
(Cha) received stitches on his forehead and nose and was arrested for 
driving while intoxicated.  Coleman [for now] is not expected to miss any 
games.

Chicago released Cory Carr.

The LA Lakers released Andy Panko.

Orlando released Louis Bullock.

Portland released Roberto Bergersen and Monty Buckley.

Toronto released Percy Miller and Antonio Lang.

Utah released Rick Hughes, Alvin Sims, and Torraye Braggs.
