The NBA named Shaquille O'Neal (LAL) as Player of the Week.  O'Neal
averaged 27 points, 16.5 rebounds, and 5 assists as the Lakers went 4-0.
 
The NBA fined Reggie Miller (Ind) $5,000 for cursing at the fans during
Saturday's Ind-NY game.

Antawn Jamison (GS) will be out for the rest of the season after
undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.  The exploratory 
surgery did not discover any major damage.

Cleveland released Pete Chilcutt and signed Lari Ketner to a 10-day
contract.
 
Brad Miller (Cha) has torn cartilage in his left knee and it will require
surgery.  He is expected to be out for 6 weeks.
