Charlotte activated Eldridge Rescasner and placed Brad Miller on IR with
torn meniscus cartilage in his left knee.  Miller will undergo surgery on
his knee Friday.
 
Washington activated Gerard King and placed Michael Smith on IR with a
torn MCL in his right elbow.

Miami signed Bruce Bowen, placed Rodney Buford on IR with tendinitis in
his right knee, and released Rex Walters.

Philadelphia placed Nazr Mohammed on IR with a lower back strain.

Toronto activated Dee Brown and placed Michael Stewart on IR.

The NBA trading deadline is tonight (Thursday) at 5 pm Central.  After
today, no trades can be made for the rest of the season.
