The NBA named Michael Finley (Dal) as Player of the Week.  Finley averaged
26.5 points, 8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists as Dallas went 3-1.

The NBA fined Shawn Kemp (Cle) $10,000 for verbally abusing the refs and
failing to leave the court in a timely manner after being ejected in
Saturday's Cle-Atl game.

The NBA fined Dan Issel (Den) and Nick Van Exel (Den) $7,500 for verbally 
abusing the refs and failing to leave the court in a timely manner after
Denver's loss to Minnesota on Saturday.

The NBA named Derek Fisher (LAL) to replaced Kobe Bryant (LAL) in the
2-ball competition to take place on All-Star Saturday.

Milwaukee released Haywoode Workman and activated Rafer Alston.
