Jason Kidd (Pho) underwent surgery on his broken left ankle and had 3
screws placed in the ankle.

Phoenix signed Kevin Johnson for the rest of the season.  Johnson is
eligible to play in the playoffs.

Washington activated Calvin Booth and placed Rod Strickland on IR with a
strained left quad muscle.

Houston activated Matt Bullard and placed Hakeem Olajuwon on IR with
respiratory problems.

Arvydas Sabonis (Por) is out indefinitely after severely spraining his
right ankle during Wednesday's Por-Det game.
