Doc Rivers (Orl) won the NBA Coach of the Year.  Orlando went 41-41 in
1999-2000 despite revamping their entire roster.  Rivers received 60 of
the 121 media votes.  Phil Jackson (LAL) received 53 votes, Paul Silas 
(Cha) received 3 votes, Jerry Sloan (Uta) received 2 votes, Pat Riley
(Mia) received 1 vote, Scott Skiles (Pho) received 1 vote, and Butch 
Carter (Tor) received 1 vote.

New Jersey fired Don Casey as head coach.

Detroit announced that Grant Hill will miss the rest of the playoffs after
an MRI revealed a fracture in his left ankle.  The injury is expected to
take 8 weeks to heal.  Hill had played in games 1 and 2 with a painful 
bone bruise in the ankle and injured the ankle further during Tuesday's 
Det-Mia game.

San Antonio announced that Jerome Kersey will miss the rest of the
playoffs with a right mid-foot dislocation.  The injury occurred during
Tuesday's SA-Pho game.

The NBA fined Gary Payton (Sea) $10,000 for failing to make himself
available to the media and fined Seattle $25,000 for failing to make their
players comply with league media rules.

assists, and 5 turnovers.
Kevin Willis (Tor) had 16 points including 8-10 FT and 10 rebounds.
