The NBA named Tim Duncan (SA) as Player of the Week.  Duncan averaged 26
points, 15.3 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks as San Antonio went 3-1.
 
The NBA named Shaquille O'Neal (LAL) as Player of the Month for March.
O'Neal averaged 33.8 points and 12.3 rebounds as the Lakers went 15-1.
 
The NBA named Jerry Sloan (Uta) as Coach of the Month for March.  Utah
went 14-2.
 
The NBA named Steve Francis (Hou) as Rookie of the Month for March.
Francis averaged 19.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.6 assists.

The NBA fined Chris Childs (NY) $15,000 and suspended him for 2 games and
fined Kobe Bryant (LAL) $5,000 and suspended him for 1 game for their
fight in Sunday's LAL-NY game.

Philadelphia signed Antonio Lang for the rest of the season.
