The NBA fined Tim Hardaway (Mia) $20,000, Jamal Mashburn (Mia) $10,000,

The Basketball Hall of Fame announced the inductees for 2000.  They are:
 Players
   Bob McAdoo       played 14 seasons in the NBA, with the Buffalo Braves
                    72-73 - 76-77, with the LA Lakers 81-82 - 84-85
   Isiah Thomas     played with the Detroit Pistons 81-82 - 93-94, Finals
                    MVP 1990, won championships in 1989 and 1990
 Coaches
   Pat Summit       728-105 record in 26 seasons coaching at the 
                    University of Tennessee, won woman's Championships in 
                    1991, 1996, 1997, and 1998
   Morgan Wooten    1210-163 record in 43 seasons of coaching at DeMatha 
                    (Washington, D.C.) High School
