TRADE: The LA Clippers traded Johnny Newman to New Jersey for Eric
Murdock.

Toronto signed Muggsy Bogues to a 1 year, minimum [$1 million] contract.

Bill and Nancy Laurie have bought the Vancouver Grizzlies for a reported
$200 million.  The sale of the team has to be approved by the NBA Board of 
Governors.
