I ordered a seafood dish, their specialty (and the only thing they serve), but it did not taste fresh as you would find in most Seattle seafood restaurants. The preparation was good, as would be expected in an International District restaurant, but the fact that the city is a seaport does not necessarily guarantee the best fish.

I also made the mistake of not mentioning that I wanted it without MSG. As I got part way through the meal I realized that this dish not only had MSG, it was loaded.

I only give extremely low scores if my dinner contains MSG after I ask them to omit it (which I did not do in this case). The low score I am giving, though, is based on the fact that it was just not very good food. My dining companion (who is not allergic to MSG) agreed, and neither one of us finished our meals.
