Good Fried Chicken

My favorite food is fried chicken. Almost every African American person with family from the south loves fried chicken. My family comes from Atlanta, Georgia, Tillman, South Carolina, and Birmingham, Alabama. Down, there they used to eat fried chicken every week. It was like a tradition, and cooking wasn't a burdon.
Two summers ago, my family (mother's side) had a reunion at my grandmother's house in Tillman, South Carolina. My mother, father, grandmother, and aunts and uncles cooked up a storm. There was so much food for the huge family. In the end, everyone talked about the best food. Out of everyone's choices (survey), fried chicken came to the top!
Have you ever went to a fried chicken place and ate some chicken that just wasn't right for you? Was it too greasy, uncooked, burnt, or did it just have no type of flavor at all? My favorite food is fried chicken, but did I mention that it has to be cooked by someone I know. It has to be cooked with love. Also, if someone I know tells me about a place that serves good food, and mainly fried chicken, I would be pleased to try it out. I've got to admit that of all the places that were reccomended to me were top notch.
If you have never eaten fried chicken before (that's sad), then you should probably try some. Fried chicken is usually good from the chinese restaurants. Make sure you don't go ODing on the chicken. Yes. Its that good.
