MATZAH

My favorite food

wwwMatzah is my favorite food because of many reasons. The obvious reasons, the taste, how good it is with other things, etcetera. Also, though, I like the background of it and the story of how it was made. I like it because it is eaten for religous uses. Most of all though, is the story.

wwwThe taste of matzah is bland, like bread. If you get egg matzah, though (my favorite), it has a sort of sweet taste. With condiments, such as cream cheese and/or jelly, the taste is delicous. It makes a perfect breakfast or lunch, and a great side dish for dinner. That's one reason I love matzah.

wwwThe story of matzah is a great story. It is the story of Moses. When Jewish people fled Egypt, away from Pharoh, they had no time to cook bread. So they just put the dough on their backs and went off. after awhile, the dough turned into cracker like, dried dough. Hence, Matzah was born.
