MPOS Mail Auction #248, May 5, 2026
This is an auction of
items owned by MPOS and consigners, for auction to members only. All items are
pictured on the
MPOS web site, https://tinyurl.com/MPOS248
Most lots have more
than one scanned picture, so be sure to check for extra pages when viewing
scans.
The rules for bidding
are simple: Bid what you are willing to pay. Winners will pay one increment
above second bid
or starting bid if
only one bid is received. Ties will be awarded to the earliest bid. If you
wish to have your bid(s) raised
one increment to break
a tie, add a "+" next to your bid.
Bids
must conform to increments, which are as follows:
Up
To $9.50 50¢
$10.00
- $19.00 $1.00
$20.00 - $48.00 $2.00
$50.00 -
up $5.00
Bids not meeting these
increments will be reduced to conform. MINIMUM BID $5.00* (one exception
at $1)
MPOS
DOES NOT ADD BUYER'S PREMIUMS.
Mail bids to MPOS, PO
Box 1058, Poulsbo WA 98370 or send via email to mobileposociety@comcast.net.
Please
include your MPOS member number when bidding.
All
bids must be received by 8PM Pacific Time Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Phone bidding or phone
answers about current bids or lots can't be provided for this auction. (A few
email questions
will be OK.) Since all
lots are pictured online, we are not making printed scans of the covers
available.
After the close,
winning bidders will receive an invoice by email or letter, including nominal
postage and shipping cost.
Lots will not be
shipped until payment is received, except by discretion of the auctioneer.
Paypal is accepted, invoices will
include a surcharge
(up to 5% or minimum $0.75) which is waived for payment by check or cash.
Please make payment
promptly. As always, satisfaction is guaranteed by
MPOS. Bid with confidence.
