    Radhika Desai (born 1963) is an Indian political scientist. She is a Professor and Director of the Geopolitical Economy Research Group at the University of Manitoba in Canada.
    
    Biography
    After completing her Bachelor's degree in Political Science at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in India, Desai continued her academic studies at Queen's University in Canada, where she earned her Master's degree in 1986 and her Ph.D. in 1992. She taught at the University of Victoria from 1999 to 2006 and has been at the University of Manitoba since 2006. In 2000, she served as a visiting professor at Bangalore University in India; in 2008, she was a Research Fellow at the Zentrum Moderner Orient in Berlin; and in 2009, she was an academic visitor at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
