I am a freelance writer, copy editor and proofreader with a background in marketing, business, education, and travel.  I have written numerous feature articles, profiling individuals and businesses, and promoting and reviewing local and regional events.  I also have a great deal of experience with promotional and business writing, creating materials such as press releases, flyers, business letters, and web page text.  My earlier writing experience includes school curricula and expedition travel logs, as well as a variety of creative works.
