     Mavs to join Dirk Nowitzki's company.  Tomlin had been with the 
     Mavs for the past 20 years including head of PR for the last 4 
     seasons.  
9/22 Signed Dexter Dennis to a non-guaranteed contract.
9/16 Re-signed Markieff Morris to a 1 year, $3.2 million contract.
9/7 Dallas free agent Christian Wood sign a 2 year, $5.7 million
    contract with the LA Lakers.
8/29 Releaesd JaVale McGee.
8/18 Signed free agent Derrick Jones Jr. to a 1 year, minimum 
     guaranteed contract.
8/14 signed Greg Brown, Jordan Walker, and Joe Wieskamp to training
     camp contracts.
7/17 Signed 1st round draft pick (#24) Olivier-Maxence Prosper to a 4 
     year, $13.87 million rookie contract.
7/14 Signed Mikes Mile to a 2-way contract.
7/14 Signed Brooklyn free agent Seth Curry to a 2 year, $8 million 
     contract with the 2nd year at the team's option.
7/14 Signed free agent Dante Exum to a 1 year conttract.
7/12 TRADE: In a sign-and-trade and 3-team trade, Dallas traded Reggie 
     Bullock and a 2030 2nd round draft pick and received Grant 
     Williams, a 2025 2nd round draft pick (SA) and a 2028 2nd round 
     draft pick; Boston traded Grant Williams and received a 2024 2nd 
     round draft pick (SA), a 2030 2nd round draft pick (Dal), and the 
     right to swap 2nd round draft picks with Dallas in 2025; and San 
     Antonio traded 2nd round draft picks in 2024, 2025, and 2028 and 
     received Reggie Bullock and the right to swap 1st round draft 
     picks with Dallas in 2030.  Williams was first signed to a 4 year, 
    $54 million contract.
7/9 Re-signed free agent Dwight Powell to a 3 year, $12 million
    contract.
7/8 Signed first round draft pick (#12) Dereck Lively to a 4 year,
    $22.3 million rookie contract.
7/7 Re-signed free agent Kyrie Irving to a 3 year, $126 million
    contract with the 3rd year at the player's option.
7/6 Made a 3 year, $33 million offer to restricted free agent Matisse 
    Thybulle, but Portland wasted no time and match the offer.  Thus 
    Thybulle remains with Portland.
7/6 TRADE: The draft-day-trade became official: Dallas traded cash to
    Sacramento for Richaun Holmes and the draft rights to first round 
    draft pick (#24) Olivier-Maxence Prosper.  Dallas used the trade 
    exception the obtained in the Sacramento-Bertans trade to make this 
    trade happen.
7/6 TRADE: The draft-day-trade became official: Dallas traded Davis
    Bertans and the draft rights to first round draft pick (#10) Carson
    Wallace to Oklahoma City for the draft rights to first round draft 
    pick (#12) Dereck Lively.
7/5 There is a rumored that Dallas has reached a sign-and-trade
    agreement with Boston and Grant Williams for a 4 year, $53 million
    contract.  The trade can not occur until after the July Moratorium 
    ends July 6.
7/4 Named Alex Jensen as an assistant coach.
7/1 Reportedly reached a 3 year, $12 million contract agreement to
    re-sign free agent Dwight Powell.  The contract can not be signed 
    until after the July Moratorium ends July 6.
