A modernized expanded version of the Drake equation. We know things now that Frank Drake didn't know, such as the fact that planetary systems are extremely common. They appear to exist around at least 50% of the stars that are close enough to survey; and it's likely that number is nearly 100% but our current technology only allows us to see large planets in close orbits. The parameters in which life can exist has expanded as well since Frank Drake's time. This video has some interesting speculations but that's really all it is, not "facts" as it makes itself out to be.
