The 410 Cafe made its reputation on the fish and desserts, especially the pie.
The fish, such as salmon that as far as I know is served daily, supposedly comes from a local fishing company in Tacoma that gives the restaurant a special supply. Lately, however, I think there is nothing special about the fish, or much of anything else of the food. For the price that is charged for the fish, it is probably better to go elsewhere. The beef has never been particularly noteworthy, even though Buckley is in the middle of "cattle country." The Northwest in general has good food, such as fresh salads and vegetables, and the same is true at the 410 Cafe. The pies are outstanding, as always. I still think 410 is OK, just not like it was several years ago. |
