Voltmeter Adjust / Gauge Cluster Recondition

Gauge Disassembly - Remove 9 screws holding gauge cluster to display housing ( not shown ). Remove 2 nuts each from back of
Water Temp / Fuel Level & Oil Pressure / Volt Meter gauges. While holding gauge, remove nuts holding black terminal plates and remove gauge from cluster housing.

Reverse to reinstall.

Warning lights - Replace bulbs for water temp overheat, low fuel level, low oil pressure and voltage charge warnings.

Adjust volt meter - Volt meter calibrated to power supply voltage. Using a DC power supply and a DVM (digital voltmeter), use DVM to determine power supply output. Then adjust car's volt meter with pot to match power supply output. Be sure to only touch the phenolic center of the adjustment pot, not the metal parts of the pot, or use a plastic tv repair screwdriver.

Could also be calibrated in-car to match jump post or battery terminal voltage.
