Cafe Ori

14339 N.E. 20th St.
Bellevue, WA

Cafe Ori serves the type of Cantonese cuisine that can be found throughout the International District and many parts of the Seattle region, but it seems to do it better than most. I was alerted to Cafe Ori when I heard that some friends had seen many Chinese people going there, so this seemed like a good sign. When I went in I found an extensive Chinese menu, but unlike many other restaurants, this is not a "secret" menu, but all items are listed in English as well.

I was told by the people working there that one of their most popular items is the Beef Chow Fun. In fact, just about every variety of Chow Fun imaginable is served, along with several types of noodle soup.

I wanted to try Cafe Ori's version of Tofu Hot Pot, but I had to ask for a special version since the one I wanted was not on the menu. The one served, though, was quite good, and the sauce was outstanding.

This place definitely deserves return visits.
