A TOT is a Trike Only Tour, or a Trike Optional Tour, since bikes and quads are welcome too. TOTs are mostly attended by people with recumbent trikes. The annual TOT in Idaho is TaterTOT. * Getting There and Back * TaterTOT Central * Trail of the Hiawatha * Harrison to Plummer * To Wallace and Back *
Most mornings started out with a before breakfast ride to Cataldo.
Much of the trail followed the Coeur D'Alene River.
Moose also liked to use the trail.
After breakfast, we headed the opposite direction, toward Wallace.
Doreen crosses one of the many bridges.
Triking is hard work.
Another day we head for the lake district. The Andersons are passing Anderson Lake.
Eagles nest along the trail.
The flat, open landscape of the marshes and lakes contrasts with the mountains of the upper trail.
Well, it is flat until you have to climb back up to the Creamery in Harrison.
