Has anyone managed to get Plymouth, the graphical boot logo program, to work under any Linux kernel newer than 3.13.x, and if so could you share your secret? I’ve got my workstation here presently running on 3.18.9, but can not get Plymouth to work. It actually broke when I upgraded the distribution from 14.04 to 14.10, and part of that upgrade involved a kernel upgrade from 3.13.x to 3.16.x.
