Juanita Beach East

This is the eastern most portion of Juanita Beach.  The fence you see is the assholes fence.  Most of Kirkland’s Lake Washington waterfront is private property although there are perhaps half a dozen parks as well.  In down town Kirkland, although much of the water front is private property, Kirkland required that property owners provide a public walkway, so you can walk along most of the waterfront, even where it is private property, but not so for these butt-holes in Juanita, and if you saw more to the right you’d see mostly empty slips, so although the public can’t use the Lake front there, they aren’t really using it either.  This is what happens when land developers either constitute city councils or own them.  We have the same problem here in Shoreline.
