Shoreline has made about half this park (Salt Water Park) unavailable to humans.  Everything north of the rail overpass used to be sandy beach, now, in the name of erosion control, it’s overgrown with scotch broom and totally unusable.  Scotch Broom is THE most allergy causing plant on the face of the planet.  it is the absolute worst thing they could have planted in a public place.  I so regret having ever incorporated Shoreline as a city and wish it were still unincorporated King County as it was when I moved out here.
