If you cruise anywhere in the Salish Sea, you might encounter a tall ship, such as the Lady Washington, Hawaiian Chieftan, Adventuress, or Zodiak.

  1. The Charles W. Morgan is the last remaining wooden whaling ship in the world. She is also the oldest American commercial vessel still in existence. Designated a National Historic Landmark, she sails to Newport, RI on June 14th. She must first pass Coast Guard stability tests. The first of four sea trials was completed on June 7. It was the first time under sail since 1922. The vessel does not have a motor and it is unlikely that she will venture far from her home port of Mystic Seaport often, if ever again.
