I am attempting to update Mint 18.3 to Mint 19. It is not going smoothly. It would be best to avoid using this machine until notice of completion is posted here, otherwise if the in place upgrade fails and I have to do a fresh install you may loose work in progress.

Shell Servers all Up Now
The following servers did not properly remount the /home directory after reboot: debian, mint, ubuntu, zorin, and scientific. Usually I go through all the servers and check after a reboot to prevent this but after finishing the reboots I felt sick so put that off until today since there are many shell servers to choose from. Of all the debian based servers, mxlinux was the only one that was well.
Reboots Completed
Reboots are completed and I have verified the web, ftp, and mail servers are up as is the centos6 shell server and all the virtual private servers.
Normally I would check all of the shell servers to be sure NFS correctly mounted on each and NIS correctly bound. However, I am feeling sick and need to lay down for a while.

Reboots Tonight
Sometime tonight around 2-3 AM I will be rebooting servers here to install updates. If all goes well each server should not take more than about ten minutes, the total process will take about two hours.
Forums Contact Page Disabled
The contact page on Forums has been disabled because people have taken to flooding my address and support e-mail with spam via that function.
You can still contact me by e-mail or support, and you can also use S)upport T)ickets, this is actually the best method to reach me as it notifies me of the creation of tickets and I’ll see that right away.
LXQT on MxLinux
LXQT is now available on mxlinux.eskimo.com. It is documented as not working on the x2go website but I installed it and it works just fine via x2go.
Social.Eskimo.Com
Squashed a bug that caused Social to explode when friending or sending a message. Many more remain.
Maintenance Completed
All machines have been successfully rebooted. Three of them did not successfully properly remount /home and /mail from NFS servers and I had to remount them manually, they were debian, scientific, and scientific7. All are good now.
Reboot of Everything Saturday 6/16 around 1AM
I plan on rebooting pretty much everything around 1AM Saturday morning. This is to load new kernels in hopes a bug or two might be squashed. If all goes well, downtime for any given service should not be longer than 10-15 minutes.
Forums Update
The update to phpBB3 3.2.2 forced the elimination of many themes and allowed the addition of some new themes. If you don’t like the look of the board, go into your profile, select board settings and try some other themes.
Two that I like the most, “proflat” which is fully responsive and so an excellent choice if you use Eskimo North’s forums from a portable device or low resolution screen and it also looks pretty good on a high resolution screen as it makes fairly efficient use of the space. And a second theme I like is “latte” but it is fixed width like previous themes.
